Car Parks

There are a number of off street parking areas in the Town. These are located at the top of Cotton Street, between High Street and Castle Street and off Town End accessed adjacent to the Cavendish Public House.

Additional Parking is provided on Sykes Retail Park where Morrisons are located.

The cooperative Food store on Town End has a large Car Park at the rear of the store accessed via Cotton Street and Church Street. This Car Park has a two hour parking restriction and is monitored by cameras.

There is also a Car Park close to the Castle and immediately adjacent to Wetherspoons controlled by barriers. This Car Park is operated by English Heritage based at the Castle.

There are various free on-street restricted parking bays including a few disabled bays along the High Street, and Castle Street.
