The Town Hall was built in 1903 and has, during its time not only been the centre for local administration but a chapel and from 1948 until the 1970s it housed the Town's library.
The circular window to the front of the building benefited from a new stained glass design which was made by an artist associated with the Junction Arts project team.
The Town Hall now accommodates the Town Clerk and the town's council meetings which take place on the second Tuesday every month.
It is the centre for the administration of local services, including the responsibilities of the burial authority.
The Hall is open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. weekdays.
