Remembrance Day Service

Old Bolsover Town Council extends its sincere gratitude to the Adsetts family for attending today's Remembrance Day Service and for laying a wreath in honour of their relative, Sergeant Jack Adsetts, on what would have been his 108th birthday.

Sergeant J. Adsetts, Flight Engineer (Service No. 531481) of 619 Squadron in the Royal Air Force, passed away on 29 June 1943 and is laid to rest in Eindhoven Cemetery, Netherlands.

Each year, Old Bolsover Town Council invites one family of those commemorated on the war memorial to lay a wreath on Remembrance Day, honouring all service personnel, past and present. A complete list of names on the memorial can be found on the Imperial War Museum's website Bolsover | War Imperial War Museums

For more information or to register your contact details for future wreath-laying, please contact the Town Clerk. Contact information is available on the Old Bolsover Town Council's website Old Bolsover Town Council
