Sustainable Christmas Tree

Old Bolsover Town Council is delighted to announce that, for the first time, this year's festive display will feature a beautiful, eco-friendly artificial Christmas tree. This decision reflects the town's dedication to sustainability by reducing the environmental impact typically associated with natural trees.

The choice of an artificial tree offers a lasting, environmentally conscious solution that we can reuse year after year. This approach not only minimises waste but also reduces the emissions and disposal needs associated with a traditional setup.

Join us for the Christmas Light Switch-On event on Friday, November 22, at approximately 6:45pm. Enjoy late-night shopping and entertainment in the town from 4:00pm to 8:00pm as we kick off the holiday season!
